Elbow River Casino operates within Alberta’s charitable gaming model as a traditional casino, which means that the company splits the net proceeds with charitable organizations. Charitable organizations are licensed by AGLC and provide volunteers for each two day event at the casino. Under statute, each charitable organization is obligated to reinvest their portion of casino proceeds back into the Calgary community through worthy projects and beneficial services.

In addition to this support for local charitable organizations, employees at Elbow River Casino support one another and their communities through several efforts including such initiatives as collecting stuffed animals for children, donations for the food bank, gifts for seniors at Christmas and international relief efforts.
